What Happens In Mexico...

View from our balcony at Hotel Marina El Cid in Puerto Moreles, just south of Cancun.

SNUBA at Xel'Ha --it's not snorkeling and it's not SCUBA, it's SNUBA!
What a fun way to spend Christmas Vacation...in the OCEAN!!
We had a great time, but it was just too short. We enjoyed endless food and beverages at the all inclusive resort. Our excursion to Xel'Ha was packed with more food and drink. Braxton learned a new word while floating down the river--BONSAI--they would shout that at the cliff jumpers! They floated the river while Cade and I Snuba-ed. I enjoyed haggling with the vendors in Playa Del Carmen. Most of the time the prices were already pretty low, but it was fun just to see how much lower they would go. I went to Senor Frogs, just to get a shirt. (Couldn't make myself pay for a beverage while I could have all I wanted free at the resort.) Our flight home was cancelled so we had to spend an extra night--oh darn! AeroMexico put us in a new resort for the night, the Moon Palace in Cancun--more food and beverage, GREAT mojitos!! All good things must come to an end. The last time I said that I brought home a "little souvenir" from Italy. I can say that the only thing we brought back from Mexico was just a couple bottles of vanilla, at least I HOPE so!
